Meet Larry and Barbara Collins

Larry Collins and his wife Barbara have been fishing for 22 years out of San Francisco. According to Larry, “We live in the city and I like working in the country. Every day is different. No bosses except the wife. The workplace is dramatically beautiful.”

Larry is another fisherman who has been devastated by the salmon closures and the loss of access to the healthy rockfish stocks. When asked what he dislikes the most about fishing, Larry responded, “Bad weather, breakdowns, low prices, jelly fish and sea lions.”

The order of the dislikes changes day by day.

Look for Larry’s product in small fish markets restaurants in San Francisco like Scoma’s and Mollie Stone’s Markets.

Look for the F/V Autumn Gale on your next trip into San Francisco.
